Microneedling
Microneedling is a non-invasive treatment that creates tiny, controlled punctures in the skin, triggering your body’s natural collagen and elastin production. The result is a clearer complexion, tighter pores, and vibrant, younger-looking skin.
Microneedling with PRP
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a part of the blood rich in healing and growth factors, that can help treat early signs of aging, fine lines, dull skin, inflammatory rosacea, acne and acne scarring.
PRP Hair Restoration
A regenerative treatment that uses platelet-rich plasma (PRP) from your own blood to stimulate hair follicles, improve scalp health, and support natural hair growth. Commonly used for thinning hair and early hair loss.
Microneedling
is a non-invasive treatment that creates tiny, controlled punctures in the skin, triggering your body’s natural healing process. This cues the body to produce more collagen and elastin, which results in a clearer complexion, tighter pores, and vibrant, younger looking skin.
Collagen supports the skin structure, plumps fine lines and helps to soften scars. Elastin is the protein that allows the skin to stretch and then bounce back. By increasing the production of collagen and elastin, the skin will appear firmer and smoother.
Microneedling treatments can be enhanced by using serums tailored to your skin goals. This is especially beneficial because the microchannels created during microneedling increase the skin’s permeability, allowing these serums to penetrate deeply and maximize their benefits.

Microneedling FAQs
-
Following a microneedling treatment, it's common to experience redness, similar to a sunburn, and some skin tightness. These symptoms typically subside within a couple of days.
-
Some notice improvements as soon as a week after the first treatment, but significant results usually become visible after a few sessions.
-
Most patients describe microneedling as mildly uncomfortable rather than painful. We apply a medical-grade numbing cream beforehand to minimize any discomfort, and most people report feeling only a light prickling or scratching sensation during the treatment. Areas with thinner skin (like the forehead) may be more sensitive, but the procedure is generally very well tolerated.
-
You should avoid makeup for at least 24 hours after the procedure to prevent skin irritation.
-
Most patients experience minimal discomfort, often described as a quick pinch.
-
For best results, a series of 3–6 treatments spaced 4–6 weeks apart is recommended. Maintenance treatments can help sustain long-term results.
-
Mild redness, swelling, and tightness are common for the first 1–2 days. More serious side effects are very rare when performed by a trained professional.
Microneedling with PRP
is a minimally invasive treatment that can help treat early signs of aging, fine lines, dull skin, inflammatory rosacea, acne and acne scarring. Plasma, a part of the blood rich in healing and growth factors, is reintroduced into the skin using a microneedling device, which stimulates collagen producing cells and encourages the formation of new blood vessels.
Microneedling is a collagen-stimulating treatment that uses fine needles to create controlled micro-injuries in the skin, improving tone, texture, and overall skin health. Fine Lines & Wrinkles

Skin Texture
By introducing growth factors and promoting collagen, PRP improves cell function and turnover, leading to smoother, more radiant skin.
Acne & Rosacea
Cytokines and other inflammation-mediating factors in PRP moderate inflammation in the skin, helping improve acne, rosacea, and redness.
Acne Scars
Cytokines, mesenchymal stem cells, and growth factors in PRP promote healing, helping the body remodel and reduce the appearance of scars.
Your PRP Facial Appointment — Step-By-Step
1. Before
Please come to your appointment with a clean, makeup free face.
Avoid active exfoliants like retinol for 48 hours beforehand, and be diligent with sun protection for 2-3 weeks so your skin is calm, happy and ready for treatment.

Your provider will then microneedle the PRP into the face.

Your PRP Hair Restoration Appointment — Step-By-Step
1. Before
Avoid medications and supplements that increase bleeding and bruising including blood thinners, aspirin, NSAIDs (i.e. Advil/Ibuprofen) and alcohol.
We recommend staying hydrated and eating lots of fruits and veggies prior to ensure healthy plasma. Nicotine will reduce the treatment’s effectiveness, so try to cut down on smoking in the days leading up to your treatment.
2. Treatment
Your treatment will start with a blood draw. The blood sample is then placed in a centrifuge and spun to separate the plasma from the red blood cells.
Your provider will then inject the PRP into the treatment area using a microneedle injector device if you have short hair, or using a tiny needle if you have long hair.
Treatment length is approximately 45 mins-1.5 hours.
3. After
Immediately after: You may experience some redness and loss of sensation of the scalp for several hours. You can shampoo and condition your hair as normal within 4-5 hours of your treatment.
For up to a few weeks: Some people experience temporary hair shedding in the weeks following their PRP treatment — this is a normal response as the hair follicles cycle through their growth stages and push old hairs out of existing shafts, making room for thicker, more resilient hair.
4. Results
Most people see a reduction in shedding as soon as 4 weeks after their third treatment. New hair growth is usually visible 6-12 weeks following the third treatment.
We do recommend pairing PRP with other hair loss treatments, as recommended by your family practitioner. Maintenance treatments are essential to keeping hair follicles in an optimal growth cycle.
